Tips and Tricks – Using Binovi to continue vision therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic
By now we’ve all heard about “flattening the curve” through social distancing and self-isolation in the wake of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic that has been affecting people around the world. Keeping a distance, and avoiding any unnecessary physical contact, is a key factor in limiting the spread of such a contagious illness, and it is precisely these precautions that are leading health practices of all kinds —like optometrists or dentists— to shut their doors and turn away patients, albeit temporarily. This loss of care for patients can set them back weeks or months, and can lead to serious problems for your practice.
With Binovi, however, that doesn’t necessarily need to happen. Care teams can stay up to date on what and how their patients are doing, and can perform some vision therapy remotely without either the patient or their therapist leaving home!
